when I learned to do that 60 years, or so, ago that was called Jitterbug. Haven't done it in 50 years and don't plan on doing it again so I hope my wife doesn't see this.. ---ken
How lovely! Imagine what bringing back this sort of dance could do for a generation of young people who've grown up with their noses buried in their phones.
I used to do this (was NEVER this good), but a couple of old college boy friends could lead. Square Danced in college too. (That was fun - the caller told you what to do next and if you got "lost" the other couples could "pull" you through the dance.) Wonderful memories. Natokadn
loved watching this! it definitely made me smile and try to do some of the moves in my seat. I am from the younger generation, but still love this kind of dancing over any of the garbage dance stuff now a days. I used to go country line-dancing with my friend when I was in college going to massage school in Salt Lake. I wish they would bring this kind of dancing back! Good Times !!! I wasn't as good as these 2 people however! In fact, I was trying to teach my 8 year old daughter how to do some of these country swing moves, at a wedding reception back in February, boy did it wear me out!!
How marvelous to watch these "youngsters". Dancing will keep you young thanks for sharing.

So fun! I feel sad that people don't dance like that anymore. I haven't the foggiest idea how to do that. I did indeed smile the whole way through. :)
ReplyDeleteAmazing! - lol
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, does that bring back fabulous memories!! I bet I could still do that, if I could breathe after the first 2 steps!
ReplyDeleteSending this to all that I know, it just goes to show, you are never too old.
