  5. Yes, our family voted today, too.
This is from a blog entitled Do Not Be Assimilated. It is 10 things that will continue, no matter who is elected.
No Matter Who Wins the Election
Top 10 Predictions No Matter Who Wins the Election:
    1) The Bible will still have all the answers.
    2) Prayer will still work.
    3) The Holy Spirit will still move.
    4) God will still inhabit the praises of His people.
    5) There will still be God-anointed preaching.
    6) There will still be singing of praise to God.
    7) God will still pour out blessing upon His people.
    8) There will still be room at the Cross.
    9) Jesus will still love you.
    10) Jesus will still save the lost when they come to Him.
Isn't it great to know who is really in charge!

  6. #387! Walked down the street to my old elementary school and filled in each and every bubble! There were a TON of democrat signs literally lining the side walk and entrances to the school in equal intervals. I mean, I understand that we all need to "Stand Up" and vote as those signs say, but man, they were overdoing it a bit.

Sad to see my school changed so much. No more big windows to hang your art in (too many vandals) and several classes are openly bilingual. I actually felt like I was the alien there. I remember when in fourth grade, we got our first Spanish-only speaking student there. She wasn't coddled at all, and everyone thought she was rather interesting. She eventually made herself at home too.

Sis didn't vote. She claimed that she didn't want to split the vote and even asked if Ron Paul was on the ticket. I don't know what on earth she's thinking, geez... Can't be the Mormon thing, I know that, and I know she's intelligent enough to know you can't have exactly what you want and should just go for the next best thing. She even tried to argue that she's a realist. Doubtful.

Oh well, I can't have everything either! Sorry, I just had to vent a little.

  8. I voted. Now I wait until tomorrow and pray, trying not to stress and leave it all in God's hands.
Just wish we could have gotten started earlier with homesteading.
Oh well, I know it's all in God's plan, even if I can't see it.
    Have a blessed night. ♥

  9. I voted and am so sad for the future of our nation. Been watching the developments all evening. Time to order more garden seeds, and plow up a bigger spot for next year. God is in control but the row may be a tough one to hoe.
