"The last thing we need right now is a tax hike in our economy."

The last thing we need right now is a tax hike in our economy.

So says an article in The Oklahoman entitled "Americans are petrified about their future."

"The emotion in the country is really interesting," says the article. "You hear a lot of people talk about anger. It's not anger. It's absolute fear. People are petrified about the future about everything from health care to judicial nominees."

On the other side of the bell curve (where the clueless Washington progressives are having the time of their lives ruining our economy), we find out that January 1 will bring us the biggest tax hikes in history. Accident? Of course not. It's quite deliberate.

Perhaps this is why prognosticator Gerald Celente has noted that "the crash is underway."

Oh joy.

  2. Tax hikes, forcing us to accept nationalized health care, taking over 2/3 of the domestic auto industry, micromanaging financial institutions, public schools used for propoganda, cap & trade, kissing up to our enemies while insulting our allies, illegal immigration, "social justice" (an illogical concept) replacing equal justice, capitalism under attack, restricting freedom of speech (for some), handcuffing our military, ad nauseam -- the progressives hate America and are dismantling our country right before our eyes.

Those who think they will benefit from these programs will eventually feel the brunt of them through serfdom. It's coming and it's not gonna be pretty.

I am both angry and fearful. The question is, what will I do about it? I will not be a serf.

Thanks for the link to the comments of Gerald Celente. I took the time to read and listen to the audio. There were some amazing comments:

Celente says that by 2012 America will become an undeveloped nation...

"..putting food on the table is going to be more important that putting gifts under the Christmas tree,” and...

"... people’s refusal to acknowledge that America was even in a recession highlights how big a problem denial is in being ready for the true scale of the crisis."

I emailed some of his comments to folks who MIGHT listen (they are probably thinking, "Great, more doom and gloom spam!"

Every sane person hearing these comments should at least be asking themselves, "Would I be ready if this were actually to occur?" I'm asking myself, "Will I be ready?"...not because I's a pessimist, but because I'm a realist. My hope is that the people of this nation will humble themselves, seek God, turn from wickedness and let God heal this land. I'm sounding the alarm, preparing for the worst, and praying for God's best

  4. been busy trying to mentally track what taxes i personally will need to worry about when the hikes happen...unless the law gets changed i will not owe property taxes, my husband is retired so we might get hit on his pensions (military ret. and soc.sec.), i am unemployed (not my choice), then there are phone and electric...i can live without the phone..and if i had to i can live well without the electric. that leaves food and gas...well, i am stocked up for the long haul and am so frugal i squeek...but my one worry is how many are gonna show up on my doorstep and when.

  5. Those in our government want money. They want to be paid and have perks like the CEOs of mega corporations. They want to be rich men and women, and they want to spend like them. The only source of this money is us, the common American people, because the truly rich know all the ways to keep from paying much, or any, taxes.
They do not care how much money we have, or need for our own lives. They do not KNOW how much we have, or need for our own lives. They do not care about our lives. They want money.
