Astounding camouflage

For all you hunters who think you become invisible when you don camouflage clothing, take a gander at this photo and this article.

(There are a couple more camouflaged photos at the link.)

The real artists, of course, are the helpers who paint this man, not the man himself.

  1. Incredible! Mossy Oak and RealTree could learn a few things from this guy. Those camo clothing manufacturers should start a line of urban camo clothing. Want to hide in plain sight in NYC? Dress like a pigeon. Yeah, this artist may start a whole new trend.

  3. I'm going to sound sexist here to illustrate a point. I have heard older and unattracive women on TV shows say that they feel invisible. People (mostly meaning men) don't even notice them or acknowledge them. Unlike when they were young and attractive. A sad reality. However in real camouflage the idea is not to hide but to blend in. There is something to be learned from this. In an urban environment camouflage clothing screams look at me while well worn gray or dark clothing says nothing. Obviously this extends well beyond clothing to anything that is "different" or flashy or doesn't fit. There are advantages to not being noticed sometimes.

  4. That was an excellent point Anon 8:50 AM. I can think of no better way to confound the powers that be than by looking "normal".
