How great thou art

A lot of people send me links to YouTube clips, some of which are good and some of which are neutral. But my friend Debra doesn't usually send anything that doesn't knock me flat.

This one knocked me flat.

Here's a fellow who sings the hymn How Great Thou Art as a one-man barbershop quartet. Sounds strange, but oh...my...God... It knocked me flat. Chills down the arms, the whole nine yards.

How great Thou art indeed....

  4. We were getting ready to fix breakfast when we clicked on this link. Breakfast was forgotten for the next two hours as we sat and listened (and even sang along at times) to some wonderful songs sung by people with beautiful voices! The fellow supplying all the voices for the quartet singing How Great Thou Art was beyond description. You have to hear it to appreciate it. You got us into the Christmas spirit early this year, Patrice! Thank you and God bless you. --Fred & Deb

  9. My soul is definitely singing right now!

Along with all the great joys we are given on this earth, we must include the physics of delicate, precise musical harmony. This singer has given me a wonderful gift today.

I want to send this to someone, but I don't know how to do that (And you thought YOU were computer challenged.) I'll figure out something.

  11. Wow, this made me cry. I just sat down to watch after coming back from choir practice, and he just blew my mind! I've been wanting to record some of our songs for some time, but I'm nowhere near as good as this guy is!
