No worries, the fence isn't as bad as it looks. I took these photos looking down from an upstairs window, so the "sag" isn't actually as dramatic as it seems.
That said... yeah, we could tighten that portion of the fence a bit...
Animals are truly amazing - even silly chickens. If I hand feed Charlie, my rooster a raisin, he will hold it in his beak and present it to his favorite hen. The girls don't ever share though!
We had a Jersey (well a couple or three of them actually) long ago. She was about 20 yrs old and had worn down all her teeth and was deaf by the time we got her. She was a WONDERFUL cow. Gave 50% cream on her milk. We named her Clara, she was that deep golden brown color like in the movies LOL Then we had TWIGGY.. Pale in color and skinny as the model. NOTHING would put weight on Twiggy, poor dear thing. AH.. but Kathryn the Great. THAT WAS A BEAUTY. The lighter color style but young and beautiful with a personality to match. Now we have a Dexter. But Jerseys are still my love.... they just give way to much milk for us now.
Bovine beauty.
ReplyDeleteGotta say, the fencing looks a little sad.

You really "Gotta say" that?
DeleteActually, "Anon", yes.
DeleteAs I have worked on a cattle ranch or two, a lesson learned is that if you do not keep your fences tight, cattle will escape.

ReplyDeleteWell, I'm glad to see some proper courting prior to the "deed". LOL
