I'm legal!

I just received my Utah Concealed Carry permit. If you recall, toward the end of June I took an eight hour course to qualify for this permit, which allows me to carry concealed in 35 other states including, crucially, Washington.

Since I go into Spokane about once a week, I will now be able to carry my revolver with me. There was a horrific murder in Spokane recently, and since crime in general is on the rise, I like knowing I have a means of protection with me at all times.

Thanks to my trusty bra holster, I'll now be armed and legal in the state of Washington while grocery shopping or doing other errands. Whoo hoo!

  1. Now THAT will give a girl some good posture and a confident gait if anything in this world will!

Congratulations and thank you, Patrice. You've just made the world a little bit safer for us all.

  3. I received my Texas Concealed handgun license about 5 years ago and it really makes you think about what is going on around you all of the time. I have never used mine and hope I never have to but if I need it, it is there. I put it on when I get up and take it off when I go to bed. Congratulations!

  5. I have attended more than a dozen pistol and shotgun self defense and/or tactical classes. There was always a number of females in each class. Ladies can certainly shoot and in today's world need to be prepared to take care of themselves. Don't forget to practice on a regular basis.

  6. I got my ccw 20-yrs ago right after someone broke into my home. Now I carry everywhere, church, grocery, working on the farm. I'm training my nephew's gun safety & the responsibility that comes with having weapons. As a female I feel secure knowing I can protect myself while moving around in this crazy-a$$.ed world

  7. Applause!

    Now do 2 things

1 Study case law in WA and ID on how the courts there have ruled on self-defense cases.

2 Practice! Not just target shooting, but draw and fire, exactly the way you plan on carrying your pistol at targets from 3 to 10 yards.
