Makes me want to SCREAM in frustration

What the hell is this world coming to?

A ten-year-old homeschooled child has been ordered into public school because she was too good at defending her Christian faith to a judge. This didn't take place in Pakistan - it took place in New Hampshire.

The problem apparently stems from the guardian ad litem who was "appointed to participate" in a court hearing to modify the parenting plan for the child (whose mother had been divorced since the girl was born). This jerk - er, guardian ad litem - clearly hates Christians. ("If I want her in public school, she'll be in public school." "[The girl's] "vigorous defense of her religious beliefs to [her] counselor suggests strongly that she has not had the opportunity to seriously consider any other point of view." "[The child] appeared to reflect her mother's rigidity on questions of faith" "[The girl's interests] would be best served by exposure to a public school setting" and "different points of view at a time when she must begin to critically evaluate multiple systems of belief ... in order to select, as a young adult, which of those systems will best suit her own needs.")

Best of all, this jerk - er, guardian ad litem - told the mother she wouldn't even look at homeschool curriculum: "I don't want to hear it. It's all Christian based."

From the article: "The order assumes that because Amanda has sincerely held Christian beliefs, there must be a problem that needs solving."

The spineless judge apparently saw nothing wrong with this jerk's - er, guardian ad litem's - assessment, and let the matter stand.

Arrrggghhhh.

  3. This should make any God fearing, thinking person tremble at what is in store for our country if we do not resist this evil. Resist, speak the truth and pray while we still can. Let's not be like Esau and throw away our inheritance for a stinking bowl of free soup!

  4. Fortunately this girl has this strong belief and hopefully will be able to keep it inspite of being taught other views. It is what is taught at home that is most important keep kids on the right path.
Satan is doing what he can to undermine our faith but God is stronger and will triumph. Hopefully He will use this girl to witness to others and foil satans plans!!!
    Stupid people.....(judge,etc)

  6. I love your profile Patrice...! This is a sad story of injustice. If we do not rise up and take a stand for this Republic, which IS a Christian Nation we will most certainly face unbelievable persecution not only for our Faiith in Jesus but for our Amendments Rights inked by our Founding Fathers. People are awakening, but we need to follow the 9-12 Project and send a loud message to the entire Congressional Body as well as our President. I pray for each of us as we cpntinue on fighting the good fight. This Administration has surrounded themselves with Socialist/Markist/Cummunist Czars...BUT we must review the voting record of the elect in our districts and judge accordingly. I think most Americans would be stunned out of silence and acceptance and prompted into action. Lets save the future of our children and grandchildren. Which we may not be legally allowed to reproduce in the very near future if this Administration has its way. BE AWARE THAT LEGISLATION IS PENDING RIGHT NOW TO GIVE OBAMA UNPRECEDENTED POWER TO "SEIZE" THE INTERNET IN ADDITION TO ALL THE OTHER AREAS HE IS SEIZING POWER OF. Its now or never!

  8. Are you aware that the reason this was being judged by a third party at all is because the girl's divorced parents were unable to come to a conclusion on their own? The father wanted his daughter to attend a public school, while the mother wanted to homeschool.
Its not appropriate to harshly judge the government for getting involved when it was the mother and father who, even for the sake of their child, couldn't come to an amicable resolution to a difference of opinion. They invited the government into their religious life by filing a lawsuit.
