These are some random photos of cows and dairy production for the benefit of a magazine editor who needs some pics to illustrate an article. This blog entry will be removed after the editor has looked it over.
UPDATE: I've been asked to keep this blog entry up. What the heck.

#4 and #5 are so evocative, Patrice...love the fog and snow.
ReplyDeleteBut #7 and #8 fill my mother's heart! Is there anything more precious!
Loved all the daily farm life pictures. Simple. Beautiful. I wish you could keep them up.
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings, Julia

ReplyDeleteIs there any critter that isn't cute when they are small? Pics#11and#12
ReplyDeleteSo, please pardon my ignorance, but what is being shown in #9 & #10?
ReplyDeleteI'm making cheddar cheese. Photo #9 shows the curds in a cotton cloth, tucked into the plastic form on the (homemade) lever-armed cheese press (you can't see the lever arm in these photos). #10 is the plastic follower that fits over the form. The cheese is being pressed at this stage.
