New rendition of "God Bless the USA"

I stumbled across this updated version of Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" a few months ago. In my opinion, this is better -- way better -- than the original. Get a hanky, you'll need it:

This was made with the United States Air Force Band. Frankly, when the news gets too depressing, I stop and watch this video.

  2. Yeah; as a military retiree, I've often said that if military service was compulsory after high school, regardless of "social station," politicians would be less likely to throw their own kids at a less-than righteous war, and the kids wouldn't be so quick to fall for things like antifa and blm (no-caps intentional). Military people know that the only colors that matter are the colors of the uniforms, and the colors they salute and fight for!

  4. Beautiful!! Made me tearful and proud. I am grateful for those who fought for our freedoms from the very beginning of the making of this country and today. I wish more people could see this and understand what America is, though not perfect, what is though. Only GOD is perfect. It's still the best! VERY GRATEFUL

  8. I have listened to this almost every day since it came out. First, it made me cry. Then I told everyone I knew that if they didn't feel the same way about our country, they had no business being here. Very, very moving.
