Is paper dead?

Reader Ken sent this. Absolutely cracked me up.

  1. Hilarious! - Joking aside though, paper is probably being killed partly on purpose, so when technology bites the dust, the old ways that would help preserve the race will be lost to the masses. (Some folks can just take the fun out of anything.) ;-)

  2. Heeheehee! Now that's a good one! I will read on my kindle at night in bed so as to not disturb my hubby with light from a bedside lamp, but give me a good old paper book any other time!

  3. Excellent. Creative advertising!

In reality the guy would have just texted her. With minor editing it would make a great ad for divorce lawyers.

  5. Cute!
Recently I read from a grandfather about how his granddaughter was always after him to use technology. When he asked her to hand him the newspaper she replied, "Oh, grandpa, just use my phone." So he grabbed her phone and used it to smash the big ol' spider that was crawling up the wall. Bah, ha, ha!!!!!
Some things you just need good old-fashioned paper for!

  6. Reminds me of a good joke:

I was sitting on the couch when I asked my wife to bring me a newspaper. "Don't be silly", she said, "use my i-pad!"

That spider never knew what hit him.
