Kissing bulls

Here's Gimli, our Dexter herd sire, soaking up the sunshine on a mild winter day.

Here's Beefy, our eight-month-old bull calf. We never got around to steering him, so he has an early date with the freezer (about four months from now, as soon as his mama drops another calf) since we don't need another bull around the place. Beefy is fond of Gimli and decided to do a little grooming in Gimli's ear. Cute.

  1. "A date with the freezer."

Seriously, I'm just writing to say I like your writing but wonder who's listening; And it's not you -- we have a nation that has abandoned God. Sometime read second Chronicles, chapter 7, verse 14.

That was amazing, and Solomon wrote that before Christians existed; Who else could he have meant -- no other group of people meet that criteria.

And what does this mean for us living in America today? That real change comes with the repentance of Christians, with the prayer's of Christians, and it really doesn't matter what Obama does or what the muslim terrorists try to day; If we want our country back we have, each of us, work on our own relationship with the God of the Bible.
