Today is Younger Daughter's birthday.
She'll be coming stateside (after her decision to leave the Navy) in June. She'll first go to Southern California to visit her grandparents, then come up to see us before heading to the West Coast to start her new job.

So once she gets to WA, if she's on the west side she will most certainly want to visit and do some hiking in the Quinault Rain Forest. It's an absolutely gorgeous temperate rain forest.
