I just got a notification from Lehman's that they have canning lids in stock.
When I checked the link (click here), they still had supplies. But the ad also stated "First come, first served." If you need canning lids, better move on it.
UPDATE: Apparently the lids are already sold out and on back order. Holy cow, that was quick.
Thanks for the heads up!
ReplyDeleteThank you, my daughter ordered them.
ReplyDeleteBackordered already.
ReplyDeleteYikes!

Thanks! They were on backorder but that is better than not available at all!
ReplyDeleteYesterday, for the first time in months, our local Meijer had lids in stock (with a 6 box per customer max purchase). I'm betting they were all gone by today (I'm curious enough to make an extra stop in my errands tomorrow just to see).

Ebay has lids for sale. I just ordered a bunch of them.
ReplyDeleteAmazon has 200 lids for $26.99 (& up), all off brands. We bought some, but I haven't tried them yet.
ReplyDeletethe Lehman's price is $5.00/doz. How much they have gone up in the last year or so!

Here in SW Missouri our local hardware store has had them for about a month now. Ball for $3.26 a box of one dozen lids. Limit 3 but we pick up 3 each time we are there for other items. Sure good to have them available again.
ReplyDeletethat is one of those things that I usually pick up at the end of the season for next year but the past two years I could not do that have to buy them when I can
ReplyDeleteOur local Kroger has lids occasionally. I grab a box or two every time, whether I need them or not.
ReplyDeleteMy area Walmart had the Ball canning lids back in stock and seemed to have quite a few. Plus they were only $2.28 for a box of 12. I had some, but bought three boxes.
ReplyDeleteI'm not a fan of squash, LOL. That's why you don't see a canning recipe for it on my blog.
