I saw Mary Poppins on TV recently and thought one of the main characters was him, although his face looked more coarse than normal. So I googled, and yes, it was him! His dance abilities and physique gave it away.

(Julie Andrews is the stepmother of one of my friends. She's having a lot of dementia issues) Anyway, for me, it's always the Dick Van Dyke Show which I have loved since I was a kid.
ReplyDeleteI got to see Mary Poppins Returns in January 2020. (It was a treat to go to the movie theater w/ my sister & daughters). My favorite scene is w/ Dick Van Dyke. I didn't know he was going to make an appearance. If you can see that scene well worth watching.
