Today has been a ... well, challenging day. I won't go into details (except to say it's associated with moving), but it's been challenging. I'll leave it at that.
So, needing a little pick-me-up, I remembered one of my favorite church songs and dug it up on YouTube:
Yeah, a pick-me-up. It helped.
I love this song. My favorite version is when it is sung by the U.S. Marines. Look for it on Youtube. It gives me shivers!
ReplyDeleteLove that version -- hoorah!
DeleteThank you! One of my favorites. You got my heart rejoicing this morning.
ReplyDeleteI hope this move is your last in this lifetime. I may never move again unless it is to a home or assisted living. Although after my broken hip and 2 months in a rehab home I may never go back to that stage of helplessness.
ReplyDeleteI don't know how you do it, in the middle of moving and you can still maintain your blob and then some, you must be super human. I can see how this would be uplifting.
ReplyDeleteBlog not blob, hope you got it.
DeleteAwesome!
ReplyDeleteAmen, and amen!!
ReplyDeleteWhat can one say, but absolutely AWESOME!!!! Thanks!!
ReplyDeletePatrice, God will get you through this I promise. Just keep in mind "this too will pass". We are all rooting and praying for you, and loving you also. I always hated moving too...hang in there, you can do this.
ReplyDeleteThank you Patrice, my husband and I needed it too.
ReplyDeleteHello Patrice,
ReplyDeleteYeah, these times are trying, and that's a pretty good song. However, try this one for some fun and uplifting:

if you can find a decent version of Dr. Gene Scott's "If God be for us, who can stand against us?" it will most definitely lift your spirits.
God said He would establish His kingdom in the "days of those kings" (the beast empires) and NOTHING would destroy it. Well, He did establish His Kingdom; it's here now, and it is under attack by God's and our enemies. God keeps His Word.

I love this song - so glad you shared it. I hope your challenges will be sorted soon and you can rest easier for a while. Jenny
ReplyDeleteHere are the US Marines at Camp Pendleton singing "Days of Elijah". How can anyone not be moved?
