Metal ones or your dehydrator trays. Skin side down. Cover the top of each tray with cheese cloth or a plastic mesh if you want. Put the trays in a car or truck in the sun on a hot day. They can sit right under the window on that ledge. It gets Hot in a vehicle in summer! Don't worry nobody will drive off with them in there as you can see them! :-) I suppose other things can dry like this too but I have only done the cherry type tomatoes. Unfortunately,...I tried freeze-drying Raspberries. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get them to dry enough. Even after running the machine for two more hours, there was still moisture in them. Thinking they were dry, I put them in Mason jars and vacuum-sealed them with a Foodsaver. When I went to use them, they were all stuck together, like hard candy in a bowl gets on a humid day.
