In-your-face stuff from an opinionated rural North Idaho housewife
My dad (who turned 91 in July) just sent a short email around to the family:
"70 years ago today (18Aug56) I was sworn in to the USAF."
I thought this was amazing and worth sharing.

The date, August 18, rang a cobweb-covered bell. I checked my DD-214 and whaddaya know? It was 51 years ago today (18Aug75) that I enlisted in the USAF. Tell you dad hello and thanks from a fellow Air Force veteran.
