Sales are booming!

Sales of "Rachel's Folly" are booming!

We won't get official sales numbers for another week or so, but I've been taking screenshots of the book's ranking on Amazon. Early yesterday morning, here's where it stood:

As of this morning, take a gander at the difference!

This is all due to YOU, dear readers. Thank you for your support!

  1. I read this post and thought 'of course'.

You're such a great writer. I bought two copies yesterday. Hoping and praying for wild success with this next venture.

  4. I'm not into romance novels, yet I bought your first book about the Amish; haven't read it, though. I'm gonna buy this one as well and will probably read it soon, the plot is enough to interest me.

  6. Reading Rachel's Folly out loud to my wife.. we are both thoroughly enjoying the story and interactions of the characters! Makes a great personal time for us even after 38 years of marriage.

  7. I am sending this via comments because I don't have a better way to communicate with you. It is not my intention that you publish this, but it is OK if you do.

Jim Curtis is a fellow blogger and actively involved in self-publishing and helping others. According to him, Amazon pays a lot of attention to the number of reviews with 50 reviews being a significant watershed.

Please encourage your readers to submit a review. They don't have to write a lot. Just one thing they liked about your book or perhaps suggesting which readers are most likely to appreciate your book.

Sample review: "Reading Rachel's Folly was a much needed escape from the grind of my everyday life. It restored my spirit and filled me with optimism. I recommend this book for everybody who is feeling overwhelmed by the noise and conflict of city life."
