Lately I've been managing to snap some awfully cute shots of Mr. Darcy. Enjoy!
Shadow on the kitchen cabinets.
A couple of my favorites:
We call this his "vulture" position, as he waits for us to throw a stick.
The bigger the stick, the manlier the dog -- right?
When a stick isn't available, a pinecone will work in a pinch.
Couldn't find a stick, so this roll of bark will have to do:
And that's your Mr. Darcy dose du jour.
I love the pictures with the sun in his tail feathers...and he looks so grown up in these pics! Thanks for sharing the smiles dogs give us.
ReplyDeleteHandsome dog.
ReplyDeleteHe's beautiful. It's been fun watching him since you got him. I'm glad you're enjoying him so. He's a lucky dog to have the life he does with you. Wish I could say that for so many unwanted dogs that are waiting in shelters to be adopted hoping for someone to love and care for them. Thanks for sharing. I enjoy your blog and especially anything with your animals.
ReplyDeleteRetriever is the right name, he knows he's the bomb. How is this pose mom?
ReplyDeleteMy he has grown
ReplyDeleteSo nice having a new puppy. I remember my first about 65 years ago. They bring such joy and happiness and as the years go by it becomes deeper and the memories more precious.---ken

ReplyDeleteWhat a life you have given him. He is one lucky muttly mutt. Our golden thoroughly enjoys her time outside also.
ReplyDeleteNothing like a dog to keep a person in good spirits!
ReplyDeleteMr. Darcy is A.D.O.R.A.B.L.E. And so big now. ;^)
ReplyDeleteNow that is a Happy Dog!
