Today a young man spent the afternoon with my daughter, trying to learn some relaxation techniques from her. He has spent the last two weeks in a non-stop anxiety attack. The cause - he mentioned at a game night with friends that he had voted for Trump. This is a group that has played games together every Friday night for years. It never occurred to him that it would be a problem. The group immediately berated him and then took to social media telling the world what a bad person he was. The ultimate sin in their eyes is that he is gay and a member of a minority and that as such he absolutely should not have supported Trump. He is also a college professor and I worry that his job may also be affected. What is this country coming to??
You just described what this country is coming to. You described a highly educated male probably in his mid-20s who still cannot stand up for himself.
Reality Alert! I am no stranger to anxiety attacks. The #1 cause is stress. In this professor’s case, I believe the underlying causes are the choices he has made. He chose homosexuality (ouch!), he chose his friends, his work profession, his work environment, he chose to reveal to who he voted for. Adult Class 101: Decisions have consequences.
Bless your daughter for helping him. Relaxation is an excellent choice to relieve the symptoms of this professor’s stress. It will not cure the root causes. Sorry, but ‘Tough Love’ is… well, tough. Montana Guy
I confess that it is fun watching the SJWs getting their panties in a wad. Rome had circuses America has Milo and Mark Dice.
It is a moot point since our Founders’ Republic has already fallen, but Trump promised to NOT govern constitutionally. Look for 4 more years of unconstitutional wars (and unjust in the eyes of God) against sovereign nations of the Middle East (except one of course). And Trump will NOT save the 3.6 million unborn to be murdered during his watch.
Americans are literally Hell-bent to save an evil system of government. Why?
Another actual example of the left being revealed for what it really is - all the things that it professes IS the right. I hope he keeps his job. It certainly sounds like his "friends" are not. I think he needs some true friends - perhaps he should look to other "deplorable" types. I wish him luck. Natokadn
Well written article.
