Dangerous words: "Be a man"

Here's my WND column for this weekend entitled "Dangerous words: 'Be a man.'"

  1. As long as men act like women and women act like men we're making progress. Idiots. Genesis 5:2 tells me that He blessed us. We need to stop trying to change His plan for us.

  2. Yep, man up, guys and tell the pussies to shut up.

  3. If being a man is so darned bad, why are lesbians expending so much time, energy and effort in acting, behaving and looking like a man? Shouldn't the feminists be going after them as well?
    Just a thought.
Give me an all American manly man any day of the year.

  4. Good grief. All this obsessing and analyzing over who should "be" in what manner.

Doesn't sound like tolerance to me. Sounds like the same old rigid, artificial horsecrap in a different set of clothes.

Don't we have some work to do or something??

Let's nip this problem in the bud.

Lord knows homosexual Feminazis like Ms. McGlone won't be reproducing. Problem half-solved.

Then require that every male entering these 'colleges' (AND his father who failed to raise a real man) submit to mandatory castration. If you care, give a pair.

  6. Long ago, I decided that my definition of manhood was doing what was right, regardless of the consequences. Some men are "hunks," others are 98 pound weaklings, but if they do what they know is right, excluding liberalism, then they have my respect.

  7. There's a blog, been around a while now, entitled "The Art of Manliness". I gotta give the guy that writes most of it credit for at least trying to promote good old-fashioned manhood. He's kinda young but apparently has had some good examples in his life. But often, I can't help feeling bemused that such a thing is even necessary. Welcome to life in the 21st century, folks!

Today's interesting fact for you: although American grenades have generally been produced with a minimum fuse delay of at least one second, and are typically configured with a five-second delay, the French F1 in its re-imagined Soviet F1 form with an UZRGM fuse may be configured with a minimum fuse delay of zero seconds.

Although these were initially used solely for traps, some operations groups thought it would be more interesting to scatter a few of these within munitions dumps on the off-chance that they would be seized or eventually surrendered by default to the enemy.

Imagine the intense but very short-lived (pun intended) surprise of any combatants who decided that they could use a captured "zero grenade" in an improvised combat situation ...

Yeah, be a man, pull the pin on that grenade.

In case you were wondering, "be a man" is for some of us short-hand for "go be an idiot in the most self-endangering way possible".

    1. So to you, 'be a man' essentially means 'be an idiot'?

  9. Found your article interesting following the recent news release that Maybelline cosmetics has hired a 'man' to be their latest ad model for women's cosmetics. Ironically, his name is Manny. While I don't have issues with the gay or lesbian community, having a male try to sell me cosmetics has gone one step too far and I will no longer purchase any Maybelline products.

  10. I am truly ashamed of my birth state. I had thought I grew up in a hunter friendly state where real men took care of their families, hunted, fished, etc. with their sons and taught real manhood qualities. I guess no more. It is an awful feeling to see the state of manliness and womanliness be degenerated to such levels.

Now, I live in a state where a simple "protect women, girls, and children" from perverts bathroom law has been twisted by the radical left to mean something entirely off the wall evil.

Why does the media continue to go along with this crap? It's because of the threats from the left to not meet there liberal demands. Do one story that is against the gay nazi agenda and you are put on their black list. Do the research and you will find out who is behind all this. You will also find out how much power they command. It is scary indeed.

Until the eventual return of the King of Kings we have to persevere. Be salt. Be light. This is truly a dark and tasteless world now.

  11. A young boy says to his mother, "when I grow to be a man. I want to be a liberal." Mother says to son, "you'll have to decide, you can't be both."

    1. Honey, yes real men still exist. Much depends on of where are you looking for them and what you can offer them (besides the obvious).

  13. Satan is out to destroy families, and this agenda in the colleges fits his plan perfectly. Why would people pay thousands of dollars for this? It offers no useful skills to earn a living with.

  14. Its refreshing to hear a woman trumpet a positive message about old fashioned Manly man
behavior.I like you am tired of neutered metro males who complain if you dare use a firm hand shake, saying it is rude to do so.I kid you not. Thanks for your support Patrice. We were visiting Idaho over Christmas and were at the Coeure D Alene Winco shopping. Not sure but I think we saw you and Don shopping there. Wasn't sure so I didn't want to bother the couple to ask. Take care and God Bless
