Contra-survival: What is it?

Here's my WND column for this weekend entitled Contra-survival: What is it?

11 comments:

  1. We had a word for "micro-aggressions" where I grew up: LIFE!!!! The "aggressor" was either another person who happened to have an opinion you didn't like (in which case you should have a friendly argument over coffee or shut up and agree to disagree) or a baiting SOB looking to lure you into a fight (in which case, well, pick your battles).

The idea that someone should feel "aggressed upon" by disagreement, divergence, or whatever other "microaggression" they've dreamed up this week flies in the face of everything the poor little SJW's CLAIM to stand for.

    I guess they've exposed themselves.

They keep it up, they'll find out what aggression really looks like.

  2. Wow! Patrice, you just about a dozen nails directly on their heads. Many of these thoughts I have articulated over the years and some I have felt but was never able to put into words. This was one of your best articles.

  3. I've known for a long time that Western civilization is teaching their people to be wimp drones. We're not worth anything to the powers that be as independent thinkers, only as mindless droids with only personal comfort in mind. Right and wrong is no longer a rally cry, it's all about "feelings".

  4. It really irks me that tax dollars were spent to promote such garbage. If ideas had to stand on merit alone, what a wonderful world this would be. Everything we are force fed is usually garbage.

The force feeding of garbage is how you cultivate a culture that stands there while an islamist shoots them one by one. Sorry, Charlie, if a bullet is going to come my way, I am going to fight back.

I look forward to a day when Tech schools prevail and there are no on campus or publicly supported "groups". You want to hang out with like minded, narrow minded, or whatever, do so on your own nickel.

  5. Amazing truth in this article!

Regarding the insane policies our federal government is adopting, there is a solution left us by the Framers of the Constitution. It is Article V, the 2nd clause which states that 2/3 of the state legislatures can apply for a Convention of States, which is an Amendment Convention. Mark Levin in his book "The Liberty Amendments" has proposed 11 amendments that are a great start. The Convention of States Project is working to make a COS happen. The topics on our state applications are 1) fiscal restraints, 2) term limits, and 3) reducing the size and scope of the federal government. One of our Co-Founders, Michael Farris, who is familiar to homeschoolers who know HSLDA, has proposed we reset the definitions of the General Welfare clause and the Commerce clause to definitions our Founders would understand. If a COS was held, amendment proposals are passed with a majority vote. Then amendment proposals must be ratified by 38 states and conversely it takes 12 states plus 1 to kill a bad amendment. In the lifetime of my father and myself, "electing better people" has not done the trick, it will not save us. We must use the mechanism left to us by the Framers; George Mason said it best “Amendments therefore will be necessary, and it will be better to provide for them, in an easy, regular and Constitutional way than to trust to chance and violence. It would be improper to require the consent of the Natl. Legislature, because they may abuse their power, and refuse their consent on that very account“ - Jun 11, 1787
One can read more and sign the petition to state legislators at www.ConventionOfStates.com.

do you think that those vampires with a death grip on this country would not jump on just such a convention in order to gut the Constitution?

    1. Deborah Harvey,
A Convention of States is limited in the following ways: 1) 34 states must make application with the same topics, 2) amendment ideas must be germane to the topics, 3) amendment proposals are then approved by a majority of the Convention, 4) amendment proposals must then be ratified by 38 states and 5) conversely 12 states + 1 = 13 states can kill a bad amendment.

In addition, our Framers were following the patterns set in England. There have been 2 official "Convention of the Estates of the Realm" and 1 unofficial - when King John signed the Magna Carta. You can read about this here: http://www.americanthinker.com/articles/2015/09/how_a_famous_english_convention_clarifies_the_role_of_a_convention_of_states.html

I believe the deck is stacked in favor of the "vampires", but that is the exact reason why George Mason insisted Article V, the 2nd clause be included. This is how we can "unstack" the deck and return to a fair and just government.

George Mason said, “Amendments therefore will be necessary, and it will be better to provide for them, in an easy, regular and Constitutional way than to trust to chance and violence. It would be improper to require the consent of the Natl. Legislature, because they may abuse their power, and refuse their consent on that very account“ - Jun 11, 1787

George Mason also said - “…no amendments of the proper kind would ever be obtained by the people, if the Government should become oppressive” - Sep 15, 1787

That's why he fought for a Convention of the States to be included.

To quote our COS Co-Founder Michael Farris, "Victory goes to the majority of those who participate". I choose to participate in this moral solution left us by the Framers - they approved Article V, the 2nd clause unanimously.

      Sincerely,
      Deborah Lee

  7. TODAY’S HEADLINES: "Portland (Oregon) Community College to devote an entire month to 'whiteness'-shaming".

Quoting PCC website: “Whiteness History Month: the project seeks to inspire innovative and practical solutions to community issues and social problems that stem from racism.”

After just 1 week without electric these PCC fools will throw their grandmother under a bus for a can of tuna fish. And they won’t care if it comes from a white man.

    1. Oh good Lord, what a crock.

Yes, I did actually go to PCC's website and read about it.

I thought we got over actively teaching people to be ashamed of the color of their skin when we did away with "separate but equal."

      Don't we LEARN?!?!

Of course not. Because NO GROUP actually wants equality. Every group just seeks to gain the "favored minority" slot.

Now, yes, European colonialism really did do some very uncool and shameful things in the name of empire. Very not OK. Not OK then, even though the conventional wisdom of the time said it was the manifest Will of God, and not OK now.

I'm not just crying about the poor Africans, or the poor Native Americans, or the poor Australian Aborigines, or any of that PC crap. They weren't exactly nice to my dirt-poor lily-white Welsh and Scottish ancestors either, or to the rest of the lily-white folks in the American colonies, or to the debtors and other criminals they shipped Down Under.

White guilt. Yeah, right. White privilege. BS. Just TRY and sell THAT crap up a holler full of poor whites in West Virginia.

I got the same "cop talk" that African-American parents cry about giving their sons. "Listen, kid, you're a coal miner's kid. You wear beat-up clothes, you drive a beat-up car, and you can't even howl racism if some cop wants to mess with you. Don't say anything you don't have to, call that cop 'sir' when you do have to talk, tell them what you're going to do before you move a muscle, and keep your hands where they can see 'em. If they want to make you have sex, don't wash and we'll deal with it later. They WILL pay if I can make 'em, but you DO NOT RESIST. I want you home, alive."

  8. You're right, BTW. You don't get this crap in a war zone, because people are busy trying to survive. Unless you're psycho, you don't give a crap about the race or ethnicity of someone who's helping you do that. They're HELPING YOU STAY ALIVE-- you really wouldn't give a crap if they were purple and green (unless it was gangrene) with one arm and three eyes. My uncle used to tell me that, in combat, even KKK type guys stopped giving a crap what color the medic was when they got hit.

You don't give a crap about the race or ethnicity of someone who's not threatening you or getting in your way. They're just people.

You don't give a crap about the race or ethnicity of someone who's trying to kill you or take what you need to survive. You're not gonna be like, "'S OK, bro, you look like me, so go ahead." You'd shoot your body double if s/he was threatening your survival.

Prosocial behavior is prosocial behavior, regardless of the color or culture of the person doing the behaving. Dominionism is dominionism, regardless of the race or religion of the group seeking to dominate. I realize that's a word generally associated with Christianity, but FEH, Islamic State is pretty much the definition of dominionism (it's even in the name). Robbery, rape, and murder are robbery, rape, and murder. Sloth and freeloading isn't a culture-- it's just laziness and bad decision making, and it will bite you on the butt no matter what color your cheeks happen to be.

Race is a crock. The sooner the Klansmen and the PC Pukes get that through their heads, the sooner people really will be judged by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin.
