10,535 pages condensed to four sentences

Reader Fred sent this, with the note: "This would be funny if it weren’t so darn true!"

10,535 Pages Condensed to Four Sentences

Here are the 10,535 pages of the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act (a.k.a. “Obama Care”) condensed to four sentences:
  • In order to insure the uninsured, we first have to uninsure the insured.
  • Next, we require the newly uninsured to be re-insured.
  • To re-insure the newly uninsured, they are required to pay extra charges to be re-insured.
  • The extra charges are required so that the original insured, who became uninsured, and then became re-insured, can pay enough extra so that the original uninsured can be insured, which will be free of charge to them.

This, ladies and gentlemen, is called “redistribution of wealth” or, by its more common name.... SOCIALISM.

When I read this out loud to Don, he added a fifth point: "And it's estimated to cost $50,000 each for the previously insured/un-insured/re-insured."

  1. *Socialism* is the _equal_ distribution of wealth (or in reality the equal distribution of poverty).

Obama’s omission of the ‘equal’ is significant. The uber-rich get tax-breaks and exemptions, it’s just the working class and middle class who are having their wealth redistributed to the entitlement class.

Obama care is *not* socialised health care, it’s government mandated private health care.

  2. How very sad! All true of course, I am on Medicare so it does not effect me but my boy is caught in the trap. I fear it will affect his life span in a negative way. The really sad thing is that we already had Medicaid to cover the uninsured so the whole exercise was not required anyway.

  3. Very sad . . And now millions who just didn't necessarily want GOV ordained healthcare are required to have it . . Or Else. I haven't had healthcare for years and have paid cash ($500 for my eyeglasses alone) and happily used herbal remedies successfully.

  4. Aand even that wouldn't be soooo bad, after all it is simply socialized health care. But it wouldn't be so bad except that millions (perhaps 30 million today and untold future millions) of illegal aliens will get free health care. What this means is there will not be enough money to pay for the socialized health care so some health care MUST be limited (I believe this is called death panels). Make no mistake, no matter your age, when you are old and retired and need cancer surgery to save your life your surgery will be denied while at the same time somewhere an illegal alien man will be allowed surgery to become a woman. The difference will be as simple as this: you are old and the surgery won't make sense. After all saving your life will give you five or ten more years and even worse (from the government perspective cost them money for your retirement) while that illegal alien will live for 50 years. So it makes good sense don'tcha see!!!
You will laugh at this. But some day down the road you or maybe yur parents will be denied health care because the system cannot afford it. THEN you will understand...

    1. Many Americans understand now (at least those who are not brainwashed). The problem is, what to do about it?! Our elected officials keep making promises that they never keep, and we keep believing them and voting for them. WE THE PEOPLE appear to be the ones at fault here. When will we wise up and rise up and put a stop to the 2-party system of lies and control? Apparently never!

    2. When will people stop voting? When will they stop delegating to authority (which is a myth and not possible)? When will they step in and present themselves, instead of asking re-present-atives to do the job for them?

I used to think the problem was dumb voters, or dumb politicians. Now I know the problem is all voters and all politicians.

We are acting like little children, needing mommy or daddy politicians. When are we going to grow into adults and do the job of making decisions ourselves?

      Take back the power people!
