Training us to be victims

Here's my WND column for this weekend entitled Training Us to Be Victims.

Not exactly a barn-burner. Same ol' same ol'. I think I'm in a rut. Grunt.

  1. Once again, great article. You home school them, you teach them to be self-sufficient in so many ways, but then they go out into the world and get bombarded with all the P.C. garbage. What do we do? Is it possible for another generation to live a life of freedom? I get so discouraged at times, but just reading your blog and other like minded homesteaders gives me hope and the ability to pass on what I read and know to be true even though it's all often politically incorrect. Continued blessings and prayers over you and your family.....Alicia

  2. I do think a lot of people are beginning to realize this government is not for the people anymore. I read a article the other day, how there was a voluntary, if you can call it that. Where they herded people in their car into lines for a voluntary mouth swab for DNA. It was for the insurance industry study. The only problem is they hired off duty police who still wore their uniforms. This made people upset and thought it infringed on their rights.
A lot of the local police have said they will never cooperate in this study again as people were very resentful to this treatment. So maybe there is some hope and a point where people will just say no.

    1. Interesting point on "A lot of the local police have said they will never cooperate in this study again..."

Moot point, and the popo's apologies ring hollow as those particular cities probably *won't* have that study ever done again anyway.

  3. I have always wondered how we have become so entrenched in Politically correct.? Wouldn't it be better to be Honest up front and Morally Correct? A very good read!

  4. Patrice, it is so encouraging to know that parents like you and Don are still raising children with strong values, skills and morals.

While I believe that our Founder's America no longer exists, there is still hope. Something will rise from the ashes of this once-great nation. With God’s grace we may mold it and pass liberty on to our children. Pastor frequently reminds us that the Bible is replete with examples of God working with His 'remnants'.

  5. Excellent article.

    It is a mentality...

    And BTW, it's libel

  6. I don't think you are in a rut at all- I love all of your articles!! Your articles make people think!! Keep up the good work!!

  7. Well, Patrice, some things bear repeating.

    And repeating. And repeating.

I wouldn't have believed it myself, until people who were supposed to be "helping" me pulled out all the stops trying to force me onto disability. It's SCARY.

    Say it again, LOUDER.
