What's in it for ME?

Here's my WND column for this weekend entitled What's In It for ME?

  1. I think the real problem doesn't stem necessarily from the Liberal feel mindset or wishing government would create a level playing field for all. Old style Liberals could be dealt with.

Progressives/Feminist/Multi-Cultist took it to a new level. They don't give a damn about a level playing field or equal opportunity they want equal outcome without all those pesky natural limitations like ability making any difference.

With that line of thought it stopped being a political ideology and became a religion based only on flawed faith.

    1. Exactly! Liberal-progressives really don't care about a level playing field, equal opportunity, honesty, honor, integrity, right and wrong and consideration for others. All they care about is getting their way. Their huge egos tell them when it comes to humans, they know what's best. (No doubt that's why so many of them major in psychology in college!) You can never reason with them, because they KNOW they are right and you are wrong. Period, end of discussion. And don't try to confuse them with any facts. It's beyond sad. It's pathetic. --Fred in AZ

  2. How true. We could have our own orange versus whites in our country. I fear that would be a very bad thing for.all, including the elitists. Be gray, be prepared and stay informed.

  3. Patrice, great timing. Another 'Crisis' hit just one day after your article. Random comments from yesterday's 'Crisis':

"That's a problem. There are a lot of families who are not going to be able to feed children. You don't want children going hungry tonight".

"It really is a bad situation"

"It's been terrible. It's just been some angry folks. That's what a lot of folks depend on."

    "They couldn't get their benefits"

"I know there are a lot of mad people."

So.... What was the crisis? Food stamp EBT cards stopped working for just a few hours.

You are right Patrice. We are now a ‘house divided’.

History has recorded the fall of many countries. But like the Special Ops soldiers who authored 'A Failure of Civility' warn (and yesterday’s crisis illustrates), the collapse of technology-dependent America with her masses of unskilled, unprepared, entitlement-minded sheep WILL be different.

    1. I find the comment about the children going hungry tonight kinda interesting, how many people do you know that have absolutely no food in their house, especially ones with children. I can remember a time when I had $20 for the month to feed myself and my two children. I went hungry but I made sure my kids were fed. You do what you have to to keep the kids fed, granted they ate a lot of rice and beans that month.

    2. I find the comments of these liberals to be quite amazing, I read a news story about this, and that the reason the ebt cards stopped working wasn't that they couldn't get there benefits, far from it, the spending limit wasn't in place and in the some of the Louisiana Walmarts, the ebt cardholders went on a spending spree where they spent lots more money than they are allowed. They were even pushing and shoving to get the food.

  4. Spot on again Patrice. I read this great commentary and recalled the movie "Far and Away" with Tom Cruise and his then wife Nicole Kidman. A movie depicting the fate of Irish immigrants coming to America.

America used to be the land of opportunity for those willing to work to achieve it. Though the movie depicts some pretty unappealing ways to accomplish their goals, the concept of work was well embedded into the movie.

We have lost this "work ethic" that got us to the point of envy of the rest of the world. We have our wonderful "progressive" education establishment and others to thank for that. No longer are "immigrants" expected to work to get ahead. Never mind that most of our "immigrants" are now "illegally" here. Another wonderful progressive idea, but I digress.

I found out this morning on WND that the vets & truckers that protested in DC over the weekend dumped the "barrycades" from the WW II memorial in front of the White House. Good for them! They get it. Even if the "lamestream, liberal, progressive media" does not.

I fear there is another American Revolution on the horizon. Let it come and soon.

Jesus and Lincoln were both wrong. A " house divided " is just a duplex.
