Where does paranoia end and tyranny begin?

Here's this weekend's WND column entitled Where Does Paranoia End and Tyranny Begin?

  1. I agree that the government "can" be an overwhelming force. However, if the people that truly believe in our constitutional republic, would throw out the "usurpers" who want the constitution and all of the founding documents to "evolve" into what they think it should be now, then we will remain a constitutional republic.

What has happened though, as you point out, is that the average "voter" has NO IDEA what this leader looks like and will vote for the "village idiot" who promises to keep the $ coming back to the voter. Never mind that the voter doesn't realize that SOMEONE will have to PAY FOR THAT! That's right, you, me, our children, and finally our grandchildren will pay. And pay, And pay, etc. China will not lend us $ forever....

It was rather amusing to hear our POTUS bemoan the idea that students would be saddled with overwhelming debt from student loans when the rates double on July 1st, while his administration continues to bark for more public spending ad infinitum. Pretty laughable to say the least! I really wonder if he really thinks before he speaks?

I will and always remain as an anonymous profile to hopeful screen some of the intrusions into my privacy....

    2. The Southern poverty law centers produces a list of what they consider domestic terror organizations and highlight individuals they feel are a concern. Constitutional militias, tea party groups, concerned citizens. They leave out muslim groups, black radical groups and the like. The splc is run by liberal lawyers who seek to shape the nation through threats, intimidation, and falsehoods.Sound familiar?

    3. I'm aware of the nature of the SPLC but had no idea I was singled out in any way. Is there a link explaining why on earth my photo would be in their magazine?

    6. My skin would be crawling to even think they quoted me even with a gray area endorsement of a position. Plenty of lava soap and hot water may get the stink off from the embellishing remarks they made.

  3. There is no doubt anymore that every single word of electronic communication: every phone call, every cell phone call, every e-mail, every text, every tweet, and every keystroke of on-line activity is recorded and archived by the feddal gummint. Or on their behalf by companies with unlimited resources, tremendous power and dubious intent. And by companies I mean Google.

I believe that the current ability to parse all of that information lags far, far behind the recording and storing ability simply due to sheer unimaginable volume. Unless your communiques are tagged by the system for specific content identified automatically, your search history or angry text isn't likely to result in a knock on the door anytime soon.

But the record remains. If you do something to actually become a target of gummint interest rest assured everything connected to you will be dredged up to be used against you.

  4. P.S. And if you think you can remain anonymous, you are kidding yourself. It can be done, but it requires a tremendous amount of very specific effort and is very difficult, even for experts.

    Think happy thoughts...I guess.

  5. The idea that you can depend on corrupt politicians whose main goals in DC are to amass wealth and consolidate power amazes me.Both major parties are in collusion, how else can anyone explain brazen lawlessness of one party being enabled by lack of concern from the other? So many clamor for impeachment of the usurper,a goal that his party will not allow as they control half of Congress. The administration has run guns to Mexico, allowed an ambassador to be sacrificed in order to maintain silence. Weapons and food given to an enemy of the nation. What is commonly called aid and comfort to an enemy.Used the tax collection system to harass and threaten opponents of this thug administration. For good measure lets spice this up with voter fraud, apparent in both presidential elections and the 2010 midterm. Here in Florida this Pandora's box has just been opened and being investigated. These actions are not impeachable. This administration has participated in mass treason, from the minions to the top. Orchestrated to destroy our nation. When the vice president fails to act it is the responsibility of Congress to act.Failure of Congress to address treason pushes it to our military. The oath that Officers and enlisted personal make it clear what the military must do to protect us from enemies, foreign and DOMESTIC. The last check is the AMERICAN PEOPLE. Do you just give up take a knee to tyranny and hope for the best? Or do you get active and resist the tyrants and spineless pols who have placed our nation in serious jeopardy? Reach around and feel the center of your back.Is it just jelly or do you have a spine there?

  6. An interesting article however the comparison for the British NHS is incorrect. The government do not pay for it, the taxpayers do through national insurance contributions as well as general taxation. The system was designed to protect all users regardless of wealth, health or age. But paying for it is little different than private health insurance. Health insurance dies not refund you each year you do not use it, it pays for others claims the NHS runs on the
Same principal. The NHS is not perfect but then neither is private health insurance. Obamacare however seems to include the worst of both worlds and promises to be far more expensive than both.

    1. The government does not "pay" for anything! How can they? The government has no money of it's own! Every last cent the government spends is OUR money; some collected, most stolen, through taxes of unimaginable variety and debt of unimaginable depth and consequence.

As Margaret Thatcher said, the problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money.

  7. Patrice, nice article. I would not worry too much over the SPLC comments. I have followed this organization for a long time. During their initial early years they really did only track true hate groups like KKK and Neo-Nazi organizations, but as others have pointed out that has gradually morphed to include anyone that does not support a liberal/socialist/Marxist agenda. Personally I see their "service" to track "hate" groups they provide as utterly transparent now and just a way to be yet another shill for the Democrat party.
