I suspect your slower response is because we, your loyal readership, have already been following your journey to and from the Self Reliance EXPO here on the blog, and haven't all that much to say on WND that we haven't said here. I've really enjoyed the tale of your travels; it makes me feel a bit like I was there. Perhaps next time, I will be!
I went to the one in dallas(mesquite) Texas last november. I suggested that they do one in the Houston area. It appears the venue I suggested is now to small! I love it! Folks are waking up! Keep up the good work!
Well, this IS the Memorial Day weekend. Lots of folks are boating, rafting, swimming, jet-skiing, BBQ-ing, etc. They no doubt left their lap-tops at home (don't want to risk dropping them in the lake, stream, etc.) I suspect a lot of readers will check out your latest column after they get home from wherever on Tuesday. As for us, we enjoyed your trip a LOT! We're very happy you do what you do. You help a lot of people, Patrice. God bless you. --Fred & Deb in AZ
The Self-Reliance Expo sounds very interesting, but the presence of Kellene Bishop negatively affects the credibility of the organizers - not the other presenters. Kellene Bishop does not have a good reputation in her previous careers, and while she repeatedly claims her "most highly certified female NRA instructor..." status, she does not state what her credentials are - and there are several other female NRA Instructors/TCs who would like to her to back up that claim. And Patrice, I know you don't watch television, so you might not know that NatGeo's Doomsday Preppers does indeed tend to make their subjects looks a little less than normal. However - I wish I could have heard you and the other legitimate presenters speak! I'll just have to keep reading your blog. Thanks for all you do!
Hey there! I've been reading your site for some time now and finally got the courage to go ahead and give you a shout out from Houston Tx! Just wanted to tell you keep up the fantastic work!

Just because we didn't make comments doesn't mean that we weren't paying attention - we were/are.

ReplyDeleteI think you mean 'batting 1000' (hitting well every time) - batting .1000 is only 10% (hitting well 1 of 10 times).
ReplyDeleteJust my 2 cents.
