In-your-face stuff from an opinionated
rural north Idaho housewife.
Good one, Patrice. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. 1 John 2:16Jane
From the article: "that rare individual who enters politics out of a genuine love for country and a desire to right some wrongs – they are either marginalized to the point of ineffectiveness..."3 out of the 4 remaining Republican Presidential candidates want power - they want to be President not to help the country but because they lust for power. Ron Paul is the only one who truly wants to help get this country back on track, and he sure has been marginalized.KayKay
Best spend some time reading up on the psychopathic personality for when I look at many politrickians I am seeing a psychopath. They are very widespread among the rest of us and they do not have the same feelings as the rest of us. In fact part of their behavior is related to musing about what those feelings are. They also are commonly encountered on the job. Any job. They remind me of my father in the sense that while driving, he never had an accident, but left behind many in his wake. For me the most scary part is they are so abundant in this life. Winston
I read an article recently that suggested that most of us are descendants of Genghis Kahn and many similar tyrannical rulers from the past. They maintained enormous "harems', produced thousands of children and their present day descendants number billions. Maybe the "lust for power" is in our genes. . .
