Peace on Earth. Now buy a gun.

Here's my latest WorldNetDaily column entitled Peace on Earth. Now Buy a Gun.

  1. One of your best columns yet! And that's sayin' something.

  2. I really like your point about more women becoming interested in owning a gun. I have never in my life owned a gun, but I want one now. It's the top item on my Christmas list. My main purpose is as you said, for protection not hunting. :)

  3. I thought this part was the main point of the article and you absolutely nailed it square on the head:

"Economic instability makes governments do funny things. Hitlers aren't hatched under normal and prosperous circumstances.

"Most governments can't resist taking advantage of crises to do things they normally wouldn't (or couldn't) do.

If an economic crisis hits this nation, what will happen if citizens are not armed?"

The answer is: The government will haul them off in cattle cars like Germany did the Jews.

    Awesome job on this.

  4. Americans have been buying guns in ever-increasing numbers since 2008. It is not a coincidence that the increased sales began with the presidency of Mr. Obama. We recognize a gun-grabber when we see one.

The big bounce in sales on Black Friday shows just how concerned Americans are about our future. Obviously, more of us are waking up and getting ready for whatever may come this way. It's about time!

The Second Amendment states that our right to keep and bear arms "shall not be infringed", yet the 2nd Amendment has been infringed since Wyatt Earp declared guns could not be worn in Dodge City. Fortunately, a couple of states no longer require permits for concealed carry, they know the 2nd Amendment is the only CCW a responsible citizen really needs. Let's hope the other states get wise to that fact, too.

    Great article.

  5. Excellent post on WND. I try and share how important gun ownership is by using my simple life as an example. My sheep have horns and as they are a breed that has four horns on occasion, look rather menacing. Yet,they eat greens and an occasional snack of fruit from me. But those horns relay a very serious sign...LEAVE ME ALONE, I just want to eat and live my simple life without being attacked by a mountain lion, coyote, or bobcat.

How silly folks are saying they would never own a gun. I count on someone assuming we have the ability to defend ourselves if they are thinking about robbing the farm. I count on the rural mentality as we live too far from rapid response of law enforcement, and therefore are our own line of defense. In reality though, we live like the sheep, simple on a farm, providing as much as we can for ourselves all the while thanking our Creator, with horns that can be used if needed.

    Thanks for sharing your post.

  6. One of the things I'd like to get, once I'm on my own, is a gun. Got plenty of relatives who keep guns (and they also happen to like hunting!). You're right about more people buying guns. I work in a store that sells them, and the people at the gun counter are always swamped!

  7. Patrice,

I suggest you and everyone else take a quick look at these. First, here is an example of a local lady who did just buy that (GASP) weapon.

And secondly, Our Traitors in office:

  8. That story about the LDS cannery raid is starting to be reported as false. I don't know what or whom to believe on this as of this moment. is reporting this story now to be false.

Excellent column, Patrice! We have no local police department here, only State Police to answer any calls. Most of our neighbors are gun owners. Many hunt and the rest have them for protection. We have them for both. And yes, I do know how to use them. Every woman should should learn how to protect her family, especially in these troubling times.

  10. Excellent post, as per usual. If you want to see what happens when all (legal) guns are removed from a country have a look here in the country that used to be Great Britain. Rapes, Assaults, murders (and shootings) occurring in increasing numbers year after year. I agree with some of the comments on the original post that part is due to the change in demographics (the radical divisions caused by the influx of massive numbers of those with cultures antagonistic to the native one - the statistics show a similar thing in the USA, do they not?) but part is the changes encouraged by those in power (the lack of trust in the judiciary and police caused by how the law is selectively enforced).

You have a base protection in your written constitution (we have the Magna Carta and Bill of Rights but they have been over-written and ignored for centuries) and you should both be proud and defend it. After all it is those who are weak, old, infirm who need the equality afforded by a firearm - and I'm glad to see (whatever the reason) that so many take the chance to exercise that right.

If there are any who disagree, ask them to visit a British city and walk there alone at night - they'll soon see just how important having not only the right to self defence, but the tools to allow those most vulnerable to do so, is (both things we here have appeared to, and have, lost).

  11. I am a firm believer in gun control....the ability to be consistent in hitting the intended target tempered with the wisdom not to draw in anger, but in self defense. The world as we know it is crumbling all around us. The capability to deter aggressiveness against you and your family is more important than ever. Our founding documents and the wisdom of our nations creators are the best arguments for the preservation of our nation, its culture, and the people who love both.

  12. When the government comes to get the guns, where will they go first? They will of course go to the offices of the "registered" gun owners, get their addresses, and come for them. What part of the 2nd amendment is violated here. No registration, no looky for guns, right? Come on folks, this ain't rocket science!!!! My "right" to carry is the 2nd amendment... thank you very much! I am glad at least two states recognize this! Wish ours did so I guess I am a "law breaker" SO BE IT! armed & ready! bring it on!

  13. Peace on Earth?

Aren't humans amazing? They kill wildlife - birds, deer, all kinds of cats, coyotes, beavers, groundhogs, mice and foxes by the million in order to protect their domestic animals and their feed.

Then they kill domestic animals by the billion and eat them. This in turn kills people by the million, because eating all those animals leads to degenerative - and fatal - health conditions like heart disease, stroke, kidney disease, and cancer.

So then humans spend billions of dollars torturing and killing millions more animals to look for cures for these diseases.

Elsewhere, millions of other human beings are being killed by hunger and malnutrition because food they could eat is being used to fatten domestic animals.

Meanwhile, few people recognize the absurdity of humans, who kill so easily and violently, and once a year send out cards praying for "Peace on Earth."

  14. You vegans are hysterical. Such a strong grasp of reality. EVERYTHING alive on this planet kills or causes harm to some other organism in the process of eating. You can't even raise children on a vegan diet. The damage you will cause the child with that idiocy will have you tossed into prison when it is discovered. You can't even live without taking supplements to get what your body requires that it won't get on your unnatural diet. The fact that it requires technology to make your diet work shows the stupidity of it.
